A God-shaped vacuum

In the beginning, God created heaven and earth, which define time, space, and Matter (Genesis 1:1). Here, we see the Spirit of God hovering over the waters, which implies that it is implicitly ready to give life.

From that point on, God’s beautiful and intellectual creation started, which continued until the creation of man.He created resources, provided shelter, and gave his entire authority to man. God has blessed man in every way and given him dominion over the earth and the entire creation, with man having a close fellowship with God. Then comes the point (Genesis 2:18) where God created a woman for Adam.
It’s not good for a man to be alone.
If you see the context, God felt that man should not be alone; he must have a suitable helper or partner.

If you see God’s perspective on a man when he created him, he first made a comfortable place, provided resources, and attested to him with his spirit and his regular fellowship. Now question yourself about whether you fall into this sequence as planned by God. These days, we have resources and relationships but no fellowship with God.

According to God’s plan, fellowship with God makes man perfect and complete. God said, It’s not good for a man to be alone. This may be in the context of a suitable helper, but if we see the sequential design of God in man’s life, the priority goes to God.

What happens if you miss fellowship with God?
Are you happy with your identity?
Are you happy with your resources?
Are you happy with your relationships?

Aren’t you finding any emptiness in life?

A quote by Blaise Pascal “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man that cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.”

This clearly says that nothing can satisfy us apart from God. There exists a place in the life of man where we can’t fit any person or any earthly desire to get satisfaction.

Usually, people expect satisfaction of their desires from other people and concrete things, which is highly impossible. When we don’t receive the satisfaction we expected, we are upset, and we say people are not up to the mark to satisfy us.
This is because you’re trying to fit man in the place of God, and you’re also trying to fit earthly things in the place of God.

This is the reason people end up with dissatisfaction.

You’re seeking a man or woman to be loved, but it’s ending in brokenness because no one can fill you or fit you except God.

You’re trying many things in the world to get a satisfied and purposeful life, but it is ending in emptiness.

You’re trying to do things by putting God aside, which will cause chaos.

In the Bible (John 4:13–14), “Jesus answered,Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” In him we have rest and abundance of life. (Matthew 11:28) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (John 10:10) “I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
All the earthly things we desire and the people we love may satisfy us for some time and give us partial pleasure, but the real joy comes from God. Fellowship with God makes our lives satisfied to the fullest until eternity, and it is the only way.
The Bible clearly says (2 Corinthians 4:18), “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Are you still waiting for someone or something to fill your life? If so, it goes in vain.

Are you ready to accept Jesus and have an abundant life? If so, welcome to a joyful, purposeful, and satisfied life.
