Curse Breaker

Are you a curse breaker in your family?
Yes, you read it right. In most of our lives, based on the sins that have been committed by our previous generations, it has become hard on us. Right from the point of Adam to our parents, there is a sin that rules us and made us a slave. This results in repercussions in our lives.

As God clearly said, parents’ sins will turn as a curse to future generations (Exodus 34:7),”He punishes the children and their children for the sins of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”
The most important thing to notice is the disobedience of our previous generations which led us astray from the plan of God and results in slavery of sin and consequences.

So, how to get rid of this slavery and consequences of sin?

In the Bible, there are a few people who broke their curse by surrendering their life to God.
The sixteenth king of Judah named Josiah who has not seen the disaster that God planned for the generations of kings. The only reason that we can clearly see is he was right is the sight of the Lord, and he walked in the ways of the Lord. In 2 Kings chapter 22 we can see that he wept before God. So, God heard his prayers and considered his heart. This resulted in a peaceful life without the traces of curse. His weeping implies the penitent faith which pleased God. The Bible clearly says (Psalm 51:17)”The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”

Most of the people say, and they live in a misconception that no one can come out of these generational sins. Yes, according to the given verse, God is sensitive about sin and the curse to future generations. But, the same gracious God has sent his only son to save us from that sin and the curse.(John 3:16)”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus is a curse breaker for the sin right from Adam to us. The Bible says (Genesis 3:15) ” he will crush your head” and (Romans 5:19) “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.”
Jesus made it simple, he redeemed us from the sin that burdened on us right from Adam to our own, and he became a propitiation before God. This resulted in a curse-free life (Galatians 3:13).”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.” Jesus did this by fulfilling the law of Moses. He came to fulfill the law, and he did it. Matthew 5:17:“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” Romans 10:4 ” For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes it.”

So, the only way and possibility of being redeemed from curse and saved from sin is the grace that came to earth all the way from heaven.
That is Jesus Christ. All we have to do is accept him and live according to the Word.

We should remember one thing that we cannot change our previous generations, but we can change our future generations. Yes, you can be a curse breaker in your family by accepting Christ as a saviour and leading your further generations in the same light.

Now decide yourself whether to be in the same sinful life that became an inheritance from generations or to break that curse and slavery.

The only way to break our curse is seeking God and running to Jesus.
And the only way to escape from sin is accepting Jesus and submitting your life to the Word.
Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

The Bible clearly says (Proverbs 22:6) “Train up a child in the way he should go;Even when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Yes, teach your further generations what is good and not and train him for that good, and he’ll not depart from it and will not be under the slavery of sin and curse again.
And the Bible clearly says,(Psalms 100:5),”For the Lord is good, and his love endures forever;his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Be a curse breaker to yourself and to your future generations.
Your decision can make or break further generations.
